THE BATTLE SEEMED UNENDING

WAR WAGED WITHIN MY HEAD

FIGHTING AGAINST THE DEMONS

THOUGHTS TURN TO BLOODY RED


THE BATTLE LINES WERE QUICKLY DRAWN

DARKNESS AGAINST THE LIGHT

DARKNESS TOOK ITS LETHAL BLOW

CONSUMING MEMORIES RIPPED AT MY SOUL

WITHIN ME BAGAN TO GROW


SO FIRST I MUST SLAY THE FEAR

AND LET COURAGE FILL ITS PLACE

SUMMON BRILLANCE TO FILL THE DARKNESS

WAR PAINT OF WISDOM ON MY FACE


I HAVE SLAIN THE DEMONS OF DARKNESS

A MILLION NIGHTS BEFORE

STILL THEY COME TO CHALLENGE ME

WITH THIS EVER RAGING WAR


AS I STAND ABOVE THEM

SWORD PIERCING THEIR EMPTY SHELL

IN VICTORY I SEE THE REFLECTION

OF A DEMONS SILENT HELL


DEMONS THAT STOLE A PART OF ME

BEFORE I WAGED THIS WAR

AND NOW I STAND IN VICTORY

A PART OF ME.... NO MORE
