“And there are also many other things which
Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even
the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”
John 21: 25
King James Version
Imagine books stacked from the ground to the sky all across the world,
even all of them could not contain everything that Jesus has done for us.
Most of us are familiar with His birth, His ministry on earth and His
crucifixion, but how many of us really know the innermost heart of Jesus?
Just as He sees into our hearts, we can see into His heart if we will
earnestly seek to know it.
A lot of people aren’t aware, or even stop to think about it, that
Jesus has feelings also. His heart is grieved when we hurt someone and He
rejoices when we are kind to people. If He didn’t have feelings, He would
never have allowed them to torture, ridicule and abuse Him that day at
Calvary. He would never have hung on the cross in such agony and devastating
loneliness and pain.
Many of us have never stopped to think about our parent’s feelings; I
mean really think about them. We have never taken the time to look into their
hearts. We don’t know the pain, discouragement and loneliness that our
parents keep hidden in their hearts. We may be forty, fifty or sixty years
old, but to our parents we are still their little girl or boy and they hurt
when we hurt and are happy when we are happy. If our parents love us this
much, how much more the Saviour of the world Loves us.
Do you know this beautiful Saviour? Have you given your heart and
life to Him? If not, please don’t wait another minute. Say yes to Jesus
before it is too late. Look into His heart and you will see it filled with
Love, mercy, grace, compassion, tenderness, understanding and concern for
you. Let’s make it our top priority to make Jesus happy. He has done so much
for us. How can we do less than give Him all that we have? Everything that
we have comes from the heart of Jesus. Nothing we have in this world belongs
to us. He has given it to us to make our lives comfortable and because He
Loves us. There is no one like Jesus! There is no friend like Jesus!
One day, the Saviour of the world opened His heart and arms to us and
shed His precious blood so that we may be saved and live with Him for all
eternity. Don’t miss out on Heaven and being with Jesus forever. He is
waiting for you with eagerness and longing. He will be the best friend you
have ever known.
He will never leave you, not even for a second. He will walk behind
you, in front of you and beside you to protect you. He will hold your hand
and be your Companion through joys and sorrows. What a Saviour, this Jesus of
Nazareth! He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and He Loves you.
